In 1966 the company started to produce components for the defence industry which still continues until today.
In 1969 the company due to its growth build its present facilities in Castel Bolognese which is approximately 6km from Imola. The company continued to expand in the CNC, welding, and assembly areas, becoming well known for are quality in special welding of alloys and titanium as well as for its precision component manufacture for various industries including by now the Aeronautical sector.
In 1980 Curti was accredited Quality manual in accordance with NATO IO-AQAP (Allied Quality Assurance Publications) standards.
In 1983 the expansion into the packaging machinery (Ciba brand) and robotics as well as manufacturing and assembly of machinery for international 3rd party companies led to yet again an expansion in the factory area. Expansion not only in floor space but also in highly motivated and a well qualified work force.
In 1986 Certification in accordance with NATO AQAP 4 standards.
In 1992 Certification for the processing of light Al / Ti alloys and Stainless steel in accordance with Aeronautical standards.
In 1994 the company expanded into the cable processing machinery sector competing with major international companies.
In 1997 expanded the packaging division by acquiring another brand of vertical cartoning machines.
In 2001 Certification in accordance with ISO 9002 (DNV) standards.
In 2003 Certification in accordance with ISO 9001: 2000 (DNV) standards.
