The W208 ball-winder is fitted with:
– 20 loading positions with positive control of folding mandrels;
– feed wire from the front and back of the machine
– pneumatic injector wire
– programmable controller controlling:
– winding speed adjustable from 50 to 1300 rpm
– movement of the harness in relation to the previous revolutions
– relation between the mandrels and the wheel

All parameters can be stored in 40 programmes so that they can be recovered whenever necessary:
– final insertion of the wire into the balls
– wire braking sensors to stop the machine or automatic rejection of incomplete balls
– automatic mandrel supervision of the exit of incomplete balls
– electronic safety revision in order to remove the harness
